Katya Akimenko posted a 6-0 sweep at No. 1 doubles while
Liza Akimenko earned the Cavs singles win at No. 1, 6-3, 6-2.

Grace Hall and freshman
Sarah Moore teamed up at No. 2 doubles for UVA Wise (2-7, 0-4 SAC) as the pair were swept, 6-0, by the Saints' (7-2, 3-2 SAC) Alexandra Dolfi and Sara Valentini. Limestone's Alison Walsh and Felicitas Picinini picked up a win at No. 3 by default to give the Saints the doubles point.
In singles play,
Katya Akimenko was outlasted in a fight at No. 2 as she fell to Dolfi, 7-6(7-3), 6-2. Hall was swept by the Saints' Anastasiia Khriopka at No. 3 while Moore was defeated 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 and junior
Lillian Morris was upset 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5. Limestone gained another default match win at No. 6 for the 6-1 win.
Head coach Danny Rowland's squad will be on the road this weekend for a pair of matches in North Carolina. The Cavs will face No. 13 Wingate University at 1 p.m. Saturday before a noon first serve Sunday at No. 19 Queens (N.C.).
