About UVA Wise
Head Coach Blake Mellinger and the Cavs will start their home-game stretch on Tuesday, Nov. 23 as they face the Mars Hill Lions in a South Atlantic Conference battle. The Cavaliers were not able to seal the deal against the Anderson Trojans on Saturday, Nov. 20, even though five Cavaliers were able to score in double-digits and junior Kaeleb Carter put up a game- and career-high 29 points in the Trojan's home arena. The Cavaliers' main struggle came from connecting on shots, as they only went 34-65 from field goal range. Carter sits in third in the SAC leaderboard in points per game with 19.3, while teammate Makai Vassell sits in third place in rebounds per game at 9.3 after leading the conference category for the first two weeks of the season.
Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. in the David J. Prior Convocation Center on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
