The fifth-ranked Railsplitters visit Wise Wednesday night after securing a 39-point 111-72 home victory against UVA Wise Monday evening. LMU's Devin Whitfield posted a game-high 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting, 6-for-10 from behind the arc, while four more scored in double-figures for the Railsplitters. The win pushed Lincoln Memorial to a 9-1 overall mark and a 7-1 record in the South Atlantic Conference. Head coach Josh Schertz' team collected 46 rebounds to 28 for UVA Wise while the Railsplitters shot 55.3 percent on the night. Whitfield's 22.7 ppg rank second in the conference while his 58.3 percent shooting from the field ranks third. As a team, LMU is averaging over 95 points per game and outscoring opponents by nearly 25 points per game. The Railsplitters lead the SAC in several categories including assists per game (26.6) and three-point field goal percentage (40.8 percent). Following, Wednesday's game LMU will return to Harrogate, Tennessee to host Limestone in a 4 p.m. matchup Saturday afternoon.

Drew Greene's 10 point performance marked season-highs for both. Head coach Blake Mellinger's team finished Monday night shooting 40.7 percent from the floor and 73.7 percent from the line. UVA Wise will wrap up a three-game stretch Wednesday against top-ranked opponents with its second-straight matchup with the Railsplitters. Whiteside continues to lead the SAC with his 24.5 points per game and is averaging a team-high seven rebounds per contest. Â Parris follows with 11.4 ppg and is perfect at the line so far this season (12-for-12). Carter is posting 10.4 ppg and claims the team's second-best free throw percentage at 93.3 percent (14-for-15). For tomorrow's game against Lincoln Memorial, the Prior Center will allow the first 100 students inside to see the Cavaliers in action. Tip-off is slated for 8 p.m.
