SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll Selections

ROCK HILL, S.C. – UVA Wise saw 94 student-athletes placed on the South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday morning. To be eligible for inclusion on the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll, student-athletes must have competed in a sponsored championship sport and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher throughout the academic year.

Baseball led the way for the Cavaliers with 18 student-athletes named to the SAC Honor Roll. Football followed with 12 players receiving the honor while women's lacrosse added 11 student-athletes and softball placed 10 on the list.

Volleyball had nine players named while women's basketball saw seven student-athletes earn the award. Six men's tennis players were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll with five women's tennis players also garnering the accolade. Women's cross country and women's golf each had four student-athletes recognized while men's basketball and men's cross country placed three apiece and men's golf added two players.

A total of 2,175 student-athletes, spanning each of the South Atlantic Conference's 12 member institutions and 20 sports, were named to the 2019-20 SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
