WISE, Va. – Sponsored by Impressions, Inc. and The Coalfield Progress, the 46th Annual UVa-Wise Tennis Tournament will take place Friday, July 26, through Sunday, July 28, at the Jim and Betty Humphreys Tennis Complex. The 2019 version of the tournament will feature singles and doubles events for both junior and adult players. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the UVa-Wise men's and women's tennis programs.
 
Men's and women's A, B and 40+ singles, in addition to men's, women's, men's 40+ and mixed doubles will be offered as adult events at the tournament. Junior divisions will include boy's and girl's 18 & under, 15 & under and 12 & under singles. The tournament's entry fee is $12 per person/per event with each entrant receiving a free t-shirt from Impressions, Inc.
 
The deadline to register for the tournament is Wednesday, July 24, at 5 p.m. and events are limited to two per person. The tournament will begin Friday, July 26 at 5 p.m.
 
All players should bring an unopened can of United States Tennis Association (USTA)-approved tennis balls for each match. In addition, USTA rules apply for each match of the tournament.
