Storylines – vs. Berea College (Ky.)
Head coach John Hemenway's Mountaineers visit Wise Monday evening in Coach Hemenway's 10th season at the helm of the program. Berea currently holds a 2-2 overall mark after going 1-1 this past week. The Mountaineers suffered a one-point double overtime loss, 95-94, in the team's home opener this past Wednesday before posting an 82-71 victory against Campbellsville-Somerset Saturday afternoon. Last season, Berea finished with an 11-14 overall record, 6-12 in the USA South. The team averaged 78.2 points per game during the 2018-19 campaign, led by Torell Carter (20.6 ppg) and Isaac Caudill (18.2 ppg). Through the first four games of the 2019-20 season for Berea, Caudill has re-emerged as one of the top scorers with the sophomore averaging a team-high 20 ppg and shooting 50 percent from the field. As a team, the Mountaineers post a 42.3 field goal percentage and are shooting 71.4 percent from the foul line. Berea will look to limit turnovers in Monday's contest as the Mountaineers are averaging 18 per game to start the season. Coach Hemenway's team will return to Kentucky following Monday's tilt as the Mountaineers close out November at home against Johnson University and Boyce College next week.

Chance Sheffey has tallied 8.3 ppg and 5.7 assists per game to rank second in the category among league leaders. Coach Mellinger's team will stay home after Monday night's game for four-straight inside the Prior Center to close out the  month of November.
