Storylines - West Liberty GameThe natinoally ranked number one Hilltoppers enter the contest 10-0 overall and 5-0 in the Mountain East Conference. West Liberty is led by junior Seger Bonifant who is scoring 27.5 points per game and grabbing 4.4 rebounds per game. Most recently, the Hilltoppers ran away with an 113-107 overtime victory over Concord University on Saturday. In that contest, Bonifant connected on nine free throws and three 3-pointers to score a game-high 30 points while CJ Hester added 27 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Brandon Smith also assisted the pair with 14 points and five rebounds. As a team, West Liberty University is making 12.9, 3-pointers a game and 19.2 free throws per game. Overall, the Hilltoppers are scoring 107.7 points a night while allowing 85.1 points.

Brian Sydnor is grabbing 7.8 rebounds a contest. The Hilltoppers defeated the Cavaliers at both meetings last year. On the road, UVa-Wise dropped a 116-79 decision against West Liberty, as the Cavaliers made 39.5 percent of their shot attempts from the floor and received a game-high 23 points from
Deon Boyce who also added a game-high 19rebounds. At home, the Hilltoppers defeated the Cavaliers 105-92, but not before Boyce put up a fight. The senior finished with a game-high 31 points and 17 rebounds. The Cavaliers shot 52.3 percent from the field and 31.3 perent from behind the arc.
