WISE - - Forrest Park High School star Serena Burgess recently signed to play collegiate tennis at UVa-Wise.  An all-area performer, Burgess has posted a 27-5 record over the first two years of her prep career.  Prior to the start of her senior campaign, she was named team captain for Rae Costello.

Burgess is the daughter of Charles and Chang Hwa Burgess of Montclair, Va.  She plans to pursue a degree in biology once reaching campus this fall.

Burgess will be joining a team that returns five letter winners from the 2013-14 season.
