Box Score WISE, Va. – Senior guard Cedric Harris scored 19 points and handed out 16 assists to lead West Liberty University to a 105-92 win over U.Va.-Wise Saturday evening at David J. Prior Convocation Center.
The win gave the Hilltoppers 20 victories in 21 tries, including a 16-1 worksheet in Mountain East Conference.
The loss spoiled a 31-point, 17-rebound effort by senior

After the Hilltoppers tied the game at 10, the Cavaliers scored the next seven, this time benefitting from four straight from the free throw line. When Boyce sank two with 14:30 left, the lead was 17-10.
West Liberty took its first lead with 8:38 to play when sophomore Seger Bonifant nailed a three to make it 25-24.

Javon Moore gave the Cavs the lead, but a three by freshman Devin Hoehn with 7:50 to play put the Hilltoppers back on top 28-26, and while the game was tied once more, the guests never trailed again.
The lead peaked at 12 (54-42) when sophomore Kelvin Goodwin sank a three with 1:06 left in the half, and the Toppers took a 54-46 advantage to the break.
The Cavs turned the ball over 18 times while forcing only seven Hilltopper miscues.
Harris was joined in double figures by three teammates, including junior Shawn Dyer's team-high 25 off the bench. Hoehn tossed in 16, while junior C.J. Hester came off the bench for 15 markers.
The Hilltoppers outscored the Cavaliers 52-11 off the bench.
