Box Score WISE – Sixth ranked Lincoln Memorial University shot 61.2 percent from the floor and scored 66 second half points en route to a 107-55 victory over UVa-Wise on Sunday.
LMU (11-0) placed five players in double figure scoring, led by Luquon Choice who hit six 3-pointers as part of his 20-point performance. The Railsplitters outrebounded the Cavaliers 51-24 and limited the host to 28.8 percent shooting.
UVa-Wise (1-8) had 16 turnovers and made just 17 shots in the loss. Philip Owens II led the way for the Cavs with 14 points and five assists.
UVa-Wise will be back in action on January 3rd when Wheeling Jesuit University visits the Prior Center.
