STORY LINES

More than 2,000 kids from local primary and middle schools will flood the Prior Center on Tuesday as UVa-Wise hosts its annual "Kids Day" event.
UVa-Wise will look to win its third consecutive game over King University. Including last season's 79-77 win over the Tornado, the Cavaliers have already posted a 74-64 win over King this season.
Tuesday's game will mark the third time this season that UVa-Wise will play after a week or longer layoff. The Cavs are 1-1 in such games thus far this season.
The Cavs are 3-1 at the Prior Center early on, the team's only loss came in its most recent game against Glenville State when the visitors escaped with a 78-76 win.
Senior Deon Boyce continues to lead the Mountain East Conference in rebounding at 14.7 rebounds per game.
The Cavs lead the MEC in scoring defense at 65.3 points per game and field goal percentage defense at 41.1 percent.
This week will mark the final games played by UVa-Wise in 2013. The Cavs will play Lincoln Memorial on Saturday before not playing again until January 5th.
Since the inception of "Kids Day", UVa-Wise has never lost on the day. Most recently, the Cavs posted a 75-61 win over Virginia-Lynchburg on "Kids Day 2012."
