Berry comes to Wise for the 2022 volleyball season after two seasons with the Schreiner University Mountaineers volleyball team, where she produced 190 total kills and earned Academic All-State and First Team All-District honors.
After graduating from Schreiner in 2020 with a degree with Sport Management, Berry was a assistant coach for her alma mater's squad from November 2020 to November 2021.
In addition to coaching at Schreiner, Berry was a volleyball coach for Hill Country Next Level volleyball club in Kerrville, Texas for three years during her college career.
"Kadi possesses a lot of the qualities that I was looking for in my search for an assistant coach," Hanley said. "She has played for me, so she understands the culture that I am trying to create, but can also relate with the players and so she will be a great asset not only to me, but the program as a whole."
Berry will assist in recruiting, scheduling, and providing a positive connection to the student-athletes on the Cavalier volleyball team.
"Kadi is incredibly passionate about the game, but more than that she cares about the players and helping them develop both on and off the court. She has a great amount of energy and I think she will do a good job of balance our coaching staff."
Berry currently resides in Wise.Â
