2019: Finished with 6 kills, 2 aces, 21 digs, and 2 assisted blocks in 24 games.
A native of Dumfries, Virginia, McKinney-Odasso saw action as an outside hitter and right side hitter at Forest Park High School. Named team captain of the freshman team as an outside hitter, McKinney-Odasso joined the junior varsity team her sophomore year before earning a spot on the varsity team as a right side hitter towards the end of that season. McKinney-Odasso claimed William and Mary Leadership Award after playing right side during her junior campaign. In her senior season as an outside hitter she helped lead Forest Park to the 6A East Conference 4 Title and earned the Coaches Award. Named to the academic honor roll as a sophomore and junior, McKinney-Odasso was a member of the American Volleyball Club.
"I really like the idea of a small school and being able to have a close relationship with my professors", commented McKinney-Odasso when asked why on why she chose UVa-Wise. She also appreciates the chance to further her athletic career at the college.
