Jackson McFarlane

Coach McFarlane is entering his second season at UVA-Wise. This year he adds the responsibility of Special Teams Coordinator in addition to coaching Quarterbacks.

Before his time at UVA-Wise, McFarlane was the Wide Receivers Coach at Quincy University. While at Quincy University he was part of an offense that was #1 in rushing in the GLVC and #24 in the country in rushing. McFarlane also coached one all conference Wide Receiver in his one year at Quincy University.

Before coaching at Quincy University McFarlane played his college football at D2 East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma from 2019-2022. While a member of the ECU football program he was a four-year starter, Team Captain, member of the team’s leadership council, and team leader in receptions in 2021. In his final season of 2022, the ECU Tigers went 10-3 and won a bowl game.

Prior to East Central University, McFarlane attended Ada High School in Ada, Oklahoma from 2014-2018. While attending Ada High School he was a three-year starter on the football team. McFarlane was part of the 2017 class 4A state runner up football team. He also was selected as an All-State Quarterback in 2017. He currently still holds the single season all-purpose yards record at Ada High School.
