2019-2020: Finished with a .368 batting average, posting 20 runs, 28 hits, and 14 runs batted in. Finished with an impressive 0.964 fielding percentage.
2018-2019: Finished with a .357 batting average. Scored a season-high 3 runs against Salem on February 24th. Finished with an impressive .991 fielding percentage.
2017-2018: Finished with a .333 batting average. Scored a season-high 2 runs against Southern Wesleyan on February 17th. Finished with a .982 fielding percentage.
2016-2017: Finished with a .231 batting average. Scored a season-high 2 runs against Norte Dame on March 20th. Finished with a .980 fielding percentage.
Prior to UVA Wise: Attended Atlee High School, playing baseball and being named to the First Team All-District as a senior. Chose UVA Wise over eight other schools, deciding that it “felt like home.”
Personal: Enjoys surfing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding in spare time. Has two siblings, Megan and Zach. Son of Chris and Darlene Blaum. Majoring in Sports Management.
