The University of Virginia's College at Wise Athletics

Mike Miller is in his first season as UVA Wise’s assistant pitching coach.

A four-year letter winner at Ohio Christian University, Miller served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons as he was named to the program’s all-decade team for his work on the mound.

Miller then began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Ohio Christian. In that capacity, he organized all official and unofficial visits of recruits by coordinating recruit logistics, meals, activities, etc.

Miller would then head to Edgewood Wise High School where he guided the school’s junior varsity program to back-to-back winning seasons.

Later, the coach moved to GRB Academy in Madison, Wisconsin where he served as a baseball trainer specializing in pitching from 2020-2021.

A staff accountant with Evergreen Healthcare Partners, Miller resides in Wise with his wife Taylor who is an assistant coach with the women’s basketball team at UVA Wise.
