Biography

2019: Finished with 92 kills, 4 assists, 6 aces, 40 digs, 5 solo blocks, and 22 assisted blocks in 92 games.

Abigail Byington is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee and graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School. She played Volleyball and lettered all four years during her prep career. As a sophomore, she was a member of the Big 7 All-Academic Team and helped lead her team to 3rd place finish in the Big 7 District. As a junior, she helped lead her team to a Big 7 Conference, District 1-AAA and Region 1-AAA Championship as well as being named a member of the All-Academic team. As a senior, she helped lead her team to a Big 6 Conference Championship, was named to the All-Academic Districe Second Team.
She chose UVa-Wise because of the small campus, great student atmosphere, and everyone was very friendly here on campus.

Hobbies: Hiking, Running, and Tie-Dying.
