HOW IT HAPPENED

Patrick Shelley and
Anderson Cummins each hit key 3-pointers that allowed UVA Wise to tie the game multiple times throughout the half. However, a late three-pointer by Inglemon and a fast-break layup by Andre Wright Jr. in the closing seconds gave the Trojans a 46-41 advantage at the end of the first half.

Inglemon and Wright Jr. were pivotal, with Inglemon scoring a crucial layup at 16:27 and Wright Jr. hitting a fast-break layup at 11:46 to extend the margin.
