ANDERSON, SC – The UVA Wise volleyball team saw their four match winning streak end as they lost 3-1 to league-leading Anderson on Saturday, with set scores of 13-25, 25-21, 8-25 and 18-25. The Cavaliers hit .056 with 37 kills, while Anderson (SC) finished with 53 kills and a .379 hitting percentage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
- The Highland Cavaliers dropped the opening set 25-13 after scoring the first point on a
Mable James kill from
Olivia Amos.
- Anderson finished with 16 kills to the Cavs' eight and added two service aces.
- James led the Cavaliers with three kills, while
Skye Williams and
Maggy Sechrist added two apiece; Amos had seven assists.
Second Set
- The Highland Cavaliers won the set 25-21, evening the match behind 13 kills and three service aces.
- Sechrist recorded five kills and served during a six-point stretch that helped the Cavaliers turn a 10-8 deficit into a 15-10 lead.

Skye Williams added four kills, including the final point, while Amos assisted on 11 Cavaliers kills.
Third Set
- The Cavs dropped the third set 25-8.
- Anderson recorded 11 kills and three service aces, while the Highland Cavaliers committed 10 attack errors in the set.

Fourth Set
- Anderson won the fourth set 25-18 as the match ended 3-1 in sets, recording 17 kills to the Cavs' 12 and getting each of its final five points on kills.
