WISE – Four Cavaliers scored in double figures as UVA Wise grabbed the lead early in the second half and coasted to the 79-74 South Atlantic Conference win over Limestone Saturday afternoon.
The win completes the season sweep of the Cavs over the Saints as UVA Wise won 74-60 in Gaffney on January 8. The win keeps UVA Wise in a three-way tie for fourth place in the SAC standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Limestone used a run halfway through the first half to take a 34-23 lead with 4:48 left. The Cavs went on a 14-2 run to cut the lead to 36-35 with less than a minute remaining. Both teams then traded baskets down the stretch, with the Saints taking the 38-37 lead into the locker room.

Bradley Dean three-pointer tied the game at 43-43, and soon afterwards a
Patrick Shelley three-point jumper gave the Cavs their first lead since midway through the first half. From that point the Cavs never trailed as they wore down Limestone over the remainder of the game, never letting them get closer than three points.
- The loss spoils a 29-point outing by Sirr Hughes and a 23 point, 11 rebound double-double by Greg McKay. Trevon Payton added in 11 points.
GETTING WISE

Bradley Dean led the way for UVA Wise with 20 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Dean moves into eleventh place in the all-time scoring list, passing Travis Berry's 1,365 points from 2008-12. Dean currently has 1,368 points at UVA Wise.

Evan Ramsey each had 14 points, while
Zy'Ever Wingfield added in ten points.
- The Cavs shot their second-best percentage of the season, hitting 54.0 percent of their shots. They also out-rebounded Limestone by a 34-23 margin.
