SCOUTING EMORY & HENRY
- Southwest Virginia's other team come into the first match against the Cavs this season with a 2-9 overall record and 0-4 SAC record. They have not played in a week because of the weather and travel conditions over the weekend forcing postponements and cancellations.
- Brianna Hogan (85 kills) is the top offensive threat, with Haley Harnicher (49 kills) and Grace Duey (48) also being key offensive players.
- Logan Newberry leads the team in assists with 157, while Zoie Pace has 58.

- This is one of the older series for the Cavs as the two first played on October 19, 1970 in Wise. Clinch Valley won that meeting 15-8, 15-12. The Wasps, however, lead the overall series 9-7.
SCOUTING NEWBERRY
- The Wolves are 4-5 overall and 1-3 in the SAC coming into the week. They play at Catawba Tuesday evening before coming to Wise on Friday.
