HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The UVA Wise men's tennis team resumed play after a long break due to rescheduling and fell at Carson-Newman Friday afternoon and at Coker on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The match at Carson-Newman was rescheduled from earlier this season due to weather.
- The Eagles claimed the doubles point as they won two of the three doubles flights.

Daniel Gonzalez Garza and
Yi-Hsuan Chen defeated C-N's Marc Janse and Yehor Opanasenko 6-4 in the second flight.

Hsin-Nuo Hsieh and
Pierre Djaroueh fell 6-3 in the first flight, while
Vanja Vojinovic and
Diego Pedrero lost 6-1 in the third.
- In singles play, only three flights were played due to hurry-up rules. Chen fell 6-1, 6-1 in the first flight, Hsieh fell 7-6, 6-2 in the third flight, and Vojinovic was defeated 7-5, 6-2 in the fifth flight.
- At Coker, the Cobras claimed the doubles point with 6-4 wins at all three flights.
- In singles play Chen won 6-2, 6-3 at the first flight, and Vojinovic won 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 in the fifth flight.
- Coker then grabbed wins at the second, third, fourth, and sixth flights to take the 5-2 match victory.
