Kara Long drilled the ball down the left field line that bounced and rolled all the way to the corner for an inside-the-park home run.

Mataya Ausmus cut the C-N lead to 5-4 with the home run down the left field line.
- C-N would then extend the lead with three runs in the bottom of the fourth and four in the fifth to end the game and claim the 12-4 victory.
