WISE — UVA Wise tied a season-high 15 made-three-pointers as the Cavaliers scored their fourth win in the last five games with a 92-70 win over Mars Hill inside the Prior Center Wednesday.

WHAT HAPPENED
South Atlantic Conference-leading scorer Bradley Dean led all players with 25 points as UVA Wise (13-8, 6-6 SAC) shot 57.9 percent from the field for the game.

Mars Hill (4-15, 1-10 SAC) found themselves out of the game by halftime as the Mountain Lions were down by 24 going into the locker room. The Cavs shot a blistering 67.9-percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes, including nine of their 25 three-pointers. Calen Lightford (16), Ben Bryson (14), and Luke Lawson (12) joined Dean in double-figure scoring in the win.

The Lions were led by 11 points each from Rajuan Conner and Prosper Obidiebube. Jackson Reid and Trey Belin added 10 points each to add to their statline. Conner added a game-high 10 rebounds but it wasn't enough as UVA Wise swept the season series.
