WISE - - The Division 2 Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA) announced the 2021-22 recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards. The Academic Achievement Awards, in its 15th year, is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level. This year, UVA Wise had 38 student-athletes recognized for their academic achievement. 

In order to for a student-athlete to receive an Academic Achievement Award, the student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale and have completed a minimum of two years of college-level work at a two-year and/or four-year institution.
