ANDERSON, N.C. — The UVA Wise Highland Cavaliers men's tennis team were defeated by a score of 7-0 to the Anderson Trojans on Saturday, March 5 at the AU Tennis Complex.
 
Anderson University was able to take control early on in the doubles matchups, as the Trojans all took wins against Cavalier duos Dominic Hoffman/Coleton Burke, Dylan Galenksi/Luke Jarnagin, and John Robert Kilgore/Siddarth Selvakumar and only allowed the Cavaliers to snag one point in all three spots.
 
In the singles, Cavaliers Hoffman, Burke, Jarnagin, and Galenski couldn't put up a point against their Anderson opponents; all falling 6-0. Kilgore was defeated by Anderson's Heimanarii Lai San by an 8-0 score.
 
Dylan Galenki in the No. 5 spot was able to put up a point against Patrick Cronin of the Trojans but was ultimately defeated in two sets by scores of 6-0, 6-1.
 
In the No. 6 spot, Selvakumar also was able to get a point past Trojan Drew Cagle, but eventually took an 8-1 loss.
 
 
Next, the Cavaliers will face SAC opponent Lenoir-Rhyne on Sunday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m.
