A return to Stallard Field provided UVA Wise with a series win last weekend as Brandon Costa's team took 2-of-3 from visiting Lincoln memorial.

Freshman Brock Duff fired seven innings of one-run ball to pick up his first collegiate win in a 2-1 triumph over the Railsplitters Saturday.

Outfielder DJ Dickson started both games of Saturday's doubleheader and lined a combined three hits. The first hits of his collegiate career.

Justin Snider earned his first collegiate mound win by allowing a pair of earned runs over four innings of work in a 6-5 win over LMU.

David Kelliher tossed 1 1/3 innings without allowing an earned run to pick up his first collegiate save in support of Snider.

In an 8-6 win over Concord earlier this season, UVA Wise lined four extra-base hits. Two of the extra-base hits were doubles off the bat of freshman Evan Stanley.

About Concord

Concord enters the doubleheader having won three in a row and four of its last five games.

Zack Saryeldin has been the Mountain Lions most consistent hitter. Thus far, the sophomore is hitting .421 with four homers and 19 RBI.

Rylee Nicholas provided the big blow when Concord scored a 5-3 win against UVA Wise earlier this season to earn a doubleheader split. The third baseman launched a two-run homer to provide the difference in the contest.

Inside SAC Action

Coker's Kody Hanna was named the SAC Player of the Week while Lenoir-Rhyne's Josh Lanham is the Pitcher of the Week. Hanna hit .692 last week while Lanham fired a complete game two-hitter in a win.

Wingate (1), Newberry (13) and Lenoir-Rhyne (18) remain ranked in the NCBWA Poll.

Eight SAC schools having winning records overall. Wingate (23-3), Newberry (24-4) and LR (26-3) are all playing over .850 baseball.
