WISE - - Head Football Coach Dane Damron and his staff announced the signing of 15 student-athletes on National Signing Day. Six of the 15 future Cavaliers hail from Northeast Tennessee with five coming from Virginia, including a pair of Southwest Virginia natives.
"We are very excited about the 2022 recruiting class, we fell that is has answered a lof the needs that we had coming out of the season," stated Damron. "We knew that depth at the linebacker and offensive line postilions were important to address and we did that."
Three of the incoming signees are offensive lineman while four are linebackers.
"We added talent at the defensive line position and added two specialists to create competition in that area," Damron added. "These high school athletes as well as the transfers we brought in are great additions to our roster, we were able once again to do very well in the Commonwealth of Virginia nad also in the ARC Region."

"We are not done with this class," Damron pointed out when asked about more incoming student-athletes. "We are still involved with a lof of quality young men and will continue to recruit all over to find the right young men to add to our roster."
