WISE - - UVA Wise redshirt sophomore Ethan Blank has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. A native of Roanoke, Va., Blank has posted a 3.66 grade point average while studying business administration to this point in his academic career.

On the field, the 6-foot-2, 342-pound center started on the offensive line where he aided the team 1,362 rushing yards this fall.

Blank is the first member of the football program at UVA Wise to be named to the Academic All-District Team since Donavan Montague in 2018.
