WISE - - UVA Wise wide receiver Caleb Martin has been named Second-Team All-State by the Virginia Sports Information Director's Association. A redshirt sophomore from Oak Ridge, Tenn., Martin led the Cavaliers and the South Atlantic Conference in receiving touchdowns with four in an abbreviated spring season.

An Eastern Kentucky University transfer, the 6-foot-3 Martin made his presence felt immediately this spring as he hauled in eight receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown against Carson-Newman. A week later, he once again caught eight passes, this time against Limestone as the receiver racked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown. Martin wrapped up the season with six catches and 78 yards to go with a pair of touchdowns in a win at Mars Hill University.

UVA Wise is set to resume a normal schedule this fall with an 11-game slate scheduled to kickoff in September.
