WISE - - In conjunction with state guidelines and college policy, UVA Wise has announced its attendance policy for the upcoming spring sports seasons. These polices apply to the sports of baseball, softball, tennis, lacrosse and football. Volleyball attendance policy will follow the same guidelines that were previously set forth during the basketball season which will be outlined in greater detail below.

NO VISITING FANS OR PARENTS WILL BE ALLOWED AT THIS TIME. 

UVA Wise will grant members of the athletic teams two tickets per home contest for football while lacrosse and volleyball student-athletes will receive four tickets for their guests to attend. Additionally, current UVA Wise students will have the opportunity to attend.

All fans in attendance must adhere to social distancing, state and college guidelines. Masks are required to be worn, above the nose, at all times.

At the conclusion of the event, fans must vacate the facility immediately. Interaction with student-athletes and coaches is strictly prohibited.

Venue specific guidelines

Cavalier Field & Stallard Field – Attendance is limited to fans outside of the general seating area. All bleacher seating will be closed to the general public; fans may use the track area at Stallard Field along with the parking lot beyond the outfield at Cavalier Field to watch baseball and softball games.  

Fans will be unable to sit in the bleachers around home plate and directly behind home plate. Fans are encouraged to bring chairs to sit in for the duration of the games.

Traditionally tailgating, such as sharing of food is prohibited.

ALL BLEACHER SEATING WILL BE CLOSED

Smith Stadium – Attendance is limited to guests of student-athletes and UVA Wise students. Guests must be on the pass list prior to game day while students will be limited to the first 100 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Humphreys Tennis Complex – Attendance is limited to fans outside the of the general seating area. Fans should watch from either end adjacent to court one and court six. Fans are not permitted between the courts.

All venues will be concession free until further notice.  Video streaming of most home contests will be available via uvawisecavs.com
