WISE, Va. – Men's tennis fell 7-0 in their conference opener against No. 21 Queens University Sunday afternoon.
In doubles, UVA Wise (3-5) fell at all three positions as Queens (4-0) secured the point for a 1-0 advantage. 
In singles action, freshman Cleve Packer lost 8-0 at the No. 1 position, while junior Coleton Burke fell at No. 2 6-1, 6-0. At the No. 3 spot, freshman Connor Giza was defeated 8-2, while sophomore Luke Jarnagin was outlasted 6-1, 6-0. Freshman John Robert Kilgore dropped his match 8-0 and James Srsich was topped 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 6 spot. 
Queens University is one of two South Atlantic Conference teams in the Oracle/ITA Division II Top 25. 
UVA Wise will be back in action Saturday at Maryville College. First serve is set for 12 p.m.
