WISE - - The Cavaliers extended their losing streak to nine games Saturday afternoon at the Jim and Betty Humphreys Tennis Complex as they fell 7-0 to the visiting Cedarville Yellow Jackets.

The Yellow Jackets started off the afternoon by sweeping the Cavaliers in doubles play. Freshman Luke Jarnagin and junior John Hamilton had the most success for the Cavaliers at the No. 2 position, where they fell 6-3. Sophomore Coleton Burke and freshman Dominic Hoffman fell 6-0 at the No. 1 position, while junior Daniel Laughlin and senior Jakub Blach were defeated 6-2 at the No. 3 position. 

In singles play, Burke and Laughlin both fell 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 1 and No. 5 positions respectively. Hoffman, Jarnagin and Blach were each defeated by scores of 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6 positions respectively, while Hamilton lost at the No. 4 position 6-0, 6-1.

The Cavaliers will go on the road for their next match as they try for their first win of the season at the University of Pikeville next Sunday. They will return home the following weekend for a Mountain East Conference match when they host West Liberty University on March 30.
