GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - - Men's tennis opened its spring schedule with a 7-0 loss at Tusculum University Saturday afternoon.
The Cavaliers were shut out in doubles play, as the Pioneers took all three matches with 6-0 scores. Freshman Luke Jarnigan won two games in a 6-1, 6-1 loss at the No. 3 singles position. Freshman Dominic Hoffman was the only other Cavalier with a win as he fell 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 2 singles spot.Â
 The team will look to get their first win of the season on Sunday when they play Carson-Newman University. First serve against the Eagles is slated for 9 a.m. at the Knoxville Racquet Club.
