WISE - - Due to Sunday's weather forecast, UVa-Wise's weekend baseball series against West Virginia State will be moved to Friday – Saturday. The two schools will play a doubleheader Friday beginning at 3 p.m. before wrapping up the four-game series with a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m., all four games will be played at Stallard Field.

The series is pivotal for both teams, UVa-Wise enters the series in second place with a 10-6 record in the Mountain East Conference Southern Division while West Virginia State stands at 8-8 in the league and in fourth place. The top three teams from the Southern Division will advance to next month's league tournament in Beckley, W.Va.

All four games will be streamed live on the UVa-Wise Sports Network.
