DENVER - - No. 12 Regis built a 13-2 halftime lead en route to a 21-12 victory over visiting UVa-Wise Monday afternoon.
Hannah Marshall (4), Jesse French (3) and McKayla Grasham (3) all turned in hat tricks for UVa-Wise (2-1) but the slow start proved to be too much to overcome.
Regis (2-1) sophomore Ali Vanek netted a game-high eight goals to lead the Rangers. Regis won the groundball battle 25-15 while forcing 22 turnovers in the win.

UVa-Wise will be back in action Wednesday at Colorado State – Pueblo. First draw is at 5 p.m.
