SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - - Notre Dame College made 14-of-20 3-point field goal attempts over the game's first three quarters en route to a 90-68 Mountain East Conference victory over UVa-Wise at Murphy Gymnasium Monday. Kim Cook led the 3-point barrage for the Falcons as the senior finished a perfect 3-for-3 from distance to join teammate Kyleigh Ramlow for team-high scoring honors with 11 in the win.

Notre Dame (3-2, 2-0 MEC) led wire-to-wire in the win as the hosts shot a blistering 61.5 percent in the first 10 minutes as Lauren Macer's team jumped out to a 7-0 start.

UVa-Wise (1-4, 0-2 MEC) would get as close as 9-7 on a 3-pointer from freshman Hanna Oliver with 5:55 to play in the opening quarter but would be unable to get any closer. The Falcons closed the period on a 12-5 run to take command of the contest.

Hot shooting continued for Notre Dame as a 20-6 run to close out the half propelled the hosts to a 48-27 halftime advantage. Eleven Falcons scored in the opening 20 minutes, led by Ramlow who netted nine of her points in the half.

Things turned from bad to ugly for UVa-Wise in the second half as Notre Dame canned a trio of long range shots in the first 3:08 of the third quarter to push its lead to 60-33.
