Cavs Shutout on the Road against Strong Bluefield State Team

Box Score BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The UVa-Wise women's volleyball team was handed a tough 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-20) road loss Wednesday evening by a very strong Bluefield State team. The defeat ended the Cavaliers (12-10, 7-1 MEC) two-match win streak and is the second consecutive non-conference loss for UVa-Wise.

The Cavs will remain on the road for a pair of Mountain East Conference matches this weekend. UVa-Wise will take on West Virginia Wesleyan Friday at 7 p.m. in Buckhannon, West Virginia, before going to Glenville State Saturday for a 1 p.m. first serve.
