BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The UVa-Wise volleyball team traveled to Bluefield, West Virginia on Tuesday to take on the Blues.  Lindsey Tucker finished with a team-high seven kills, while Veronica Sanchez added 12 assists and Brittni Altmann collected a match-high 21 digs to lead the Cavaliers to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-18) victory over Bluefield State College.  

As a team, UVa-Wise (7-8, 2-4 MEC) finished with 27 kills and 48 digs.

Tyann Thomas led the Blues with 11 kills, while Nikolina Nikolic added a match-high 22 assists and Brittany Bonamy collected 17 digs.

The Cavaliers will return to action Friday when Urbana University visits the Prior Center.
