Jeremiah Cooke each had an interception in the victory. Jones returned his interception for a touchdown. Concord enters as the top scoring offense in the Mountain East Conference. The Mountain Lions are the lone undefeated team in the MEC and are averaging 48.4 points per game. Tailback Calvinaugh Jones has already surpassed 1,000 yards on the season and ranks second in the MEC in rushing. Through the air, quarterback Brian Novak averages 269.5 yards passing per game and leads the MEC in pass efficency.

Zack Blair continues to rank among the MEC leaders in tackles and tackles for loss. The former Skyline High School product is fourth in the league with 70 tackles and leads the conference in stops behind the line of scrimmage with 20.5.
