Box Score WISE- - On a night when the UVa-Wise volleyball team honored Hannah Beth Salyer, a local youth who is a patient at St. Jude, the Cavaliers (3-6) scored a 3-1 (25-15, 23-15, 25-18, 25-17) victory over the Bluefield College Rams (1-10)

The Cavs' Karley Allen led all players with 15 kills while teammate Veronica Sanchez posted a match-high 41 assists. Allen added 16 digs to share match-high honors with teammate Brittni Altmann.  Erin Anderson added four service aces in the victory.
Bluefield received 14 kills from Jasmine Morrow and 21 assists from Sydney Spencer.  The pair of Hannah Winter (nine) and Ashyln Van Dyke (seven) added 17 digs in the loss.

UVa-Wise will play its first conference match of the season on Friday when Fairmont State visits the Prior Center.  First serve is set for 7 pm and the action can be seen on www.uvawisecavs.com/showcase.
