STORY LINES

UVa-Wise will look to sweep the season series over UPike for the second time in the last three seasons. The Cavaliers won the first meeting of the season between the two schools on November 18th with a 79-71 win at the East Ky. Expo Center.
UPike is winless in the Prior Center. Since its opening in 2011, the Bears are 0-3 in the building.
Kristin Kunzman's club responded to its first loss of the season with a 71-67 win over Notre Dame College on Monday. In the game, Reynesha Archer scored a career-high 20 points, 13 of which came in the second half as the Cavs handed the Falcons their first loss of the season.
UVa-Wise continues its pace of making more free throws than its opponents have attempted. Through five games, the Cavs have made 99 free throws while opponents have attempted 85 foul shots.
UPike's Calisha Johnson leads the Mid-South Conference and ranks fourth in the NAIA in scoring average at 24 points per game. Johnson scored 23 points in the first meeting between the two schools this season.
Makenzie Cluesman and Katie Jo Lester each made three 3-pointers against UPike in the first meeting. Overall, the Cavs shot 51 percent from the floor in the victory.
