Box Score ATHENS, W.Va. - - Host Concord University scored its first conference win of the season with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-20) win over visiting UVa-Wise on Tuesday.

The ­­victorious Mountain Lions (8-10, 1-3 MEC) used a match-high 13 kills from Jasmin Sutherland and eight kills each from Sarah Jones and Brytni Willis.  Willis also added a match-high nine digs in the home victory.

In the loss, UVa-Wise received a match-best 28 assists from Veronica Sanchez while Erin Anderson added 12 kills.

The Cavaliers will return to action on Friday when Glenville State visits the Prior Center.  First serve is set for 7 pm.
