Molly Land is in her fifth season as an assistant coach with the women’s basketball program at UVA Wise. Land assists with player development, conditioning and scouting opponents for the program.
In addition to her role with the women’s basketball team, Land works on campus as the school's vibrant coordinator.
The coach came to the College after spending a decade in the fitness industry coaching strength and conditioning where she worked at Davidson College and wrote the strength and conditioning programs for Concord University and Shepherd University.
A native of Hope, Ind., Land was a four-year letter winner and three-year starter at Shepherd University where she aided the Rams to the WVIAC title and a Sweet 16 appearance in 2008. Named the Commissioner’s Heart and Hustle Award Winner in 2008, Land obtained a bachelor’s degree in sports and recreation from Shepherd with a dual concentration in exercise science and sports communications.
