Former UVa-Wise basketball player, Dennis Price will return for his fifth season as assistant women's basketball coach in 2014-2015.

Price played for the Cavaliers from 1987-1991 where he aided the team to its second winning season in school history. Prior to returning to UVa-Wise, Price coached for 18 years at the high school level, with the last seven as a head coach at both Castlewood and Lebanon High Schools.

Overall, Price holds a career coaching record of 97-60, four district coach of the year honors, and one regional coach of the year honor. His teams won four district championships and one regional championship with his 2004 team ranked #1 in the state.

The coach earned his bachelor's degree from UVa-Wise in 1991 before going on to obtain a master's degree from Radford University in 2001. Price is married to Krista Lambert of Lebanon, Virginia and they are blessed two daughters; Alexis and Averie.
