WISE – A 14-1 run by Emory & Henry midway through the second half allowed the Wasps to get past UVA Wise 83-76 Wednesday evening on the Quillen Court.
The loss ends an eight-game winning streak by the Highland Cavaliers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emory & Henry's Korbin Dixon scored a layup in the opening moments, quickly followed by a layup from
Yoro Diallo to tie the score at 2-2. The Wasps used their three-point shooting to negate any big runs by the Cavs and took an eight point lead with 11:50 left in the half. UVA Wise then went inside with their big men, and
Evan Ramsey's free throws at the 39-second mark and a fast-break dunk by
Patrick Shelley with 17 seconds left ended a 26-7 comeback effort and the Cavs went into the locker room up 38-30 at the half.
