HIGH POINT, NC – Playing in their final exhibition contest of the season and final tuneup before beginning South Atlantic Conference competition on Wednesday, the UVA Wise women's basketball team had a strong start but fell to High Point 101-57 Monday evening.
Despite being relatively close to each other geographically and both having programs for 40+ years, this is the first time the two teams have met. As in the game at Liberty last week, this game counts for the Panthers but is an exhibition game for the Highland Cavaliers.
