HARTSVILLE, SC -- #14/#15 Coker used a 15-2 first half run and slowly extended their lead throughout the game as they went on to defeat UVA Wise 85-47 Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UVA Wise took the lead early on a basket by Caroline Mullins. Coker then scored four quick points before a Sable Burnside free throw cut the lead to 4-3. The Cobras then went on a 15-2 run to extend their lead to double-digits and led 21-7 at the end of the first quarter.
- The Cavs cut the lead to ten points on two occasions early in the second quarter, but Coker would shut down any Cavalier comeback efforts and led 40-23 at the half.
- Coker would extend the lead to over thirty points in the third quarter and hold on to take the 85-47 win.
- Shawntenna Tillman led Coker with 22 points, six rebounds, six assists, and five steals. Mya Wasswa chipped in 20 points.

GETTING WISE
- Ella Karst led the Cavs with 14 points in addition to five rebounds.
- Caroline Mullins had 12 points and four rebounds.
- Jalie Ruehling led the team on the boards with seven rebounds.

UP NEXT
The Cavs return home to host local archrival Emory & Henry Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. The Wasps come into the game with a 6-15 overall and 1-14 SAC record after stinging Newberry by 40 points, 86-46, earlier today.
