8-0 RUN POWERS LACROSSE PAST CATAWBA

SALISBURY, NC – Led by a career day from Abby Stoffelen and an 8-0 run over a fifteen minute stretch, the UVA Wise lacrosse team surged ahead and never looked back in the 16-11 South Atlantic Conference win over Catawba Saturday afternoon.

With the win the Highland Cavaliers pretty much lock down the fifth seed in the upcoming SAC Tournament. They are one game ahead of Lincoln Memorial, but with their 14-13 win over the Railsplitters on April 6 they hold the head-to-head tiebreaker.
