th ranked Lenoir-Rhyne made the trip to Wise Friday afternoon and picked up a pair of South Atlantic Conference victories from the homestanding UVA Wise Highland Cavaliers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cavs grabbed the 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first when
Adyson Gibson hit her first career triple to lead off the inning.
Kara Long later singled to center field and brought Gibson home.
- The Bears would tie the game up with a run in the top of the second. They added two more in the third and another in the fourth to take the 4-1 lead.

Abagail Mills singled to center field and
Emily McDonald would make it home from second base to cut the lead to 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth.
- Back to back homeruns by the Bears in the fifth scored three runs and scored again in the sixth to extend the lead to 8-2.
- Gibson and
Kendra Huff would claim runs in the bottom of the seventh but the Bears would hold on for the 8-4 win.
- In game two, the Bears grabbed three quick runs in the first from a 2 RBI double to right center and a single up the middle.
- They would pick up two more runs in the fourth inning and four more in the fifth to take the 9-0 win.
GETTING WISE

Brie Frazier led the Cavs with three hits on the afternoon.
- Gibson and Long each had two hits apiece.
Sarah Barrett, Mills, and Huff each had a hit apiece.
- Long had two RBI on the day, with Mills and
Mallory McKnight earning one each.
